Dr. Tista Prasai Joshi is a Senior Scientific Officer at the Environment Research Laboratory, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Lalitpur, Nepal. She is a renowned environmental microbiologist with expertise in water quality, antimicrobial resistance, and environmental health. Dr. Joshi has led several national and international research projects focusing on sustainable water management, pollution control, and microbial risk assessment. Her work has significantly influenced environmental policy and public health strategies in Nepal. She actively mentors young researchers and advocates for science-based solutions to environmental challenges. Dr.Tista Joshi Wins OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Award. She is also a winner of the 2024 TWAS-Samira Omar Innovation for Sustainability Award for her pioneering work in improving drinking water quality in Nepal.
